    Frederick Sylvester - Principal

    Frederick Sylvester

    Frederick Sylvester is co-founder of The Sylgar Group, LLC.– During a thriving 20 year career in finance and accounting, Fred personally built finance and accounting organizations from the ground up.– He also managed teams through numerous financial and organizational projects.  It was Fred's innate ability to recognize and effectively utilize outstanding talent that led him to his career in recruiting where he developed an extensive employer/candidate network.  Today, Fred puts these assets at your disposal to help you manage your business and career through troubled economic times.

    From 1998 – 2008, Fred was a consistent top recruiter leading to a promotion as Division Director at one of the largest specialized staffing firms in the world.  From 1990 – 1998, Fred was a controller and later vice president of finance and administration at International Masters Publishers in Stamford, Connecticut.  From 1983 – 1990, he held a myriad of positions including general accounting manager as well as assistant controller at TRW's Customer Service Division in Fairfield, New Jersey.  Fred began his career as an accountant for Shell Oil Company in West Orange, New Jersey.  He holds dual Bachelor degrees in accounting and economics from Rutgers University and became a Certified Public Accountant in New Jersey in 1991 (currently non-active).

    Christine Garrison is co-founder of The Sylgar Group, LLC.  Christine joined one of the world's largest specialized staffing firms in 2000 where she was recognized consistently for being one of the top producers worldwide.  Christine initially started her staffing career specializing in temporary administrative staffing and has since become a specialist in the area of accounting and financial recruitment.  Christine has formed long standing loyal relationships with her clients and has experience working within a variety of industries.  Christine's expertise, dedication, and professionalism have allowed her to successfully assess the needs of her clients and the goals of her candidates.

    Christine holds a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree with a major in Accounting from Hofstra University.   Prior to becoming a recruiter Christine worked in public accounting and passed the Certified Public Accounting examination.
